My goal is to read 71 88 library books this summer.
*UPDATE: As of August 8, 2014 I am including the name of the illustrator of the book if it is different than the writer. I am also including the characters (if I remember their names I will include them). Finally, I will begin awarding my own "star" review or in this case Book Worm on a scale of one to five (1-5) Book Worms; five (5) being the best, one (1) being the worse. All of this is building on my continued effort to become a better reader. I hope you like it.
If you would like to find out more about a library in your area go to www.publiclibraries.com. You may want to see if your library has any special events through the year. For instance, this summer the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh teamed up with the Pittsburgh Pirates to offer children a chance to win tickets to a Pirates baseball game. The program is called Pirates Tales and all I have to do is read books and fill out a quick form about it. Since I am still learing to read and write, my dad helps me. I didn't win last year, but maybe I will this year!

Terrific by Jon Agee: My favorite part of this book was when Eugene asked Lenny what he was waiting for and Lenny said, "You.". I would recommend this book to a friend because it is so silly.

The Amazing Spider-Man Behind the Mask by Joe Caramagna: This is a Chapter Book so we read it over the past few weeks. My favorite part in this books was when Flash came up to Spider-Man and was shy, because he was always so mean to Peter Parker. I would recommend this book to my friends because it teaches you to remember what is important.

Diary of a Fly by Doreen Cronin: My favorite part of this book was the day that the fly had it's school photos done and it's eyes were all pointed in different directions. I would recommend this book to other kids because it's silly but teaches you about the life of a fly.

The Dinosaur Alphabet Book by Jerry Pallotta: My favorite part of this book was the J dinosaur. The Jaxartosauers is my favorite because my name starts with J too. I would recommend this book because its a nice book and it gives you all the dinosaurs in alphabetical order.

Good Dog by Maya Gottfried: The best part of this book was the Chihuahua. I like this part because we have a Chihuahua named Bubby Wubby. I would recommend this book to other kids because there are cute dogs.

For instance, this summer the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh teamed up with the Pittsburgh Pirates to offer children a chance to win tickets to a Pirates baseball game. The program is called Pirates Tales and all I have to do is read books and fill out a quick form about it. Since I am still learing to read and write, my dad helps me. I hope I win!
